Free government training — the best value available
TESDA Virtual Assistant Services Level III. A 120-hour course, fully online and free, leading toward TESDA certification. Open to senior high and college graduates, undergraduates, and working professionals. No prior VA experience required — only comfort with a computer and a laptop or tablet to train on. One provider, JZGMSAT, sponsored by the Aboitiz Foundation, runs 17 to 18 training days with morning, afternoon, and evening schedules. Some batches run under the Tulong Trabaho Scholarship Program, which adds a training allowance. Contact: twc@tesda.gov.ph
DICT VA training under the SPARK program. Free VA training through DICT's regional and provincial offices, often hybrid and sometimes with on-the-job training attached. There is no single nationwide registration link — each batch is announced by the regional office running it. Follow your regional DICT Facebook page, check dict.gov.ph, and email digitaljobsph@dict.gov.ph to ask about upcoming batches. Level III batches require TESDA BSRS registration and a virtual interview. A recent NCR batch offered 75 slots with a two-week application window, which is typical of how fast these move.
Do not wait for a batch to start learning. Apply for it, then work through Module 1 while you wait.
